Viperio, the UK-based esports organization, emerged as the champion in a fiercely competitive investment pitch event at the Creative UK North East Investment Summit. This summit saw three prominent companies from the North East of the UK vying for investor attention, including animation studio Chap in the Box Studios and sports headband manufacturer Rezon.

The day’s standout performance came from Viperio, capturing the admiration of the investor panel with their compelling presentation, bolstered by concrete achievements and entrepreneurial promise. The outcome? Viperio secured an equity investment of up to £100,000, cementing their position as the preferred choice of investors.
Full Steam Ahead for Viperio
Sources suggest that Viperio had sought the maximum available amount of £100,000 in their pitch, indicating they are poised to receive a substantial investment as part of a more extensive funding effort.
Brodie Mulvaney, co-owner and commercial director at Viperio, expressed his enthusiasm:

Creative UK North East Investment Summit: Boosting the Region’s Creative Ventures
The Creative UK North East Investment Summit was hosted at Newcastle’s Tyneside Cinema. It featured a warm welcome from Caroline Norbury OBE, Chief Executive of Creative UK, and a keynote address by Lisa Opie, Managing Director of Newcastle’s Ubisoft Reflections studio.
In additional regional investment updates, Creative UK unveiled a further commitment of £2 million from the North of Tyne Combined Authority for the North of Tyne Culture and Creative Investment Programme. Additionally, they introduced the £35 million Creative Growth Finance II fund in partnership with Triodos Bank, aimed at fortifying the UK’s creative industries.
